In March of this year we were working in Burlington, VT. We need to set up a press conference, usually a task like that take us around 8 hours, but this time we made everything in 2 hours. So we were really bored at the hotel.
I was with Javier, one of my partners, and we look at each other, bored, and decide to make a short film from scratch. We write, pre-produce, shoot, and even we make re-shoots in one night. The result is "434" our first suspense short film.
Our Mini Crew:
Javier Perez-Karam (Writer, Director, Editor, DP)
Leonard Zelig (Writer, Director, Actor)
Tarina Rodriguez (Dolly Operator, Actor)
Fun Fact: Tarina never acted in her life (she was the photographer of the press conference) and she was really tired when she finally arrived to the Hotel around 9:00 pm. But she was wonderful.
Right now we're making the final sound mix, so wait for "434" in your nearest Film Festival.
